TECHNOLOGY: TurboClaw®

TurboClaw® innovation compares favourably with conventional turbocompressors for low flow rate applications and significantly operates at much lower speeds. This overcomes the problem of high speed operation of electric drives and bearings that conventionally hindered use of turbocompressors for low flow rate applications. The lower operational speeds also impacts costs of motor and drive as well as bearings.

TurboClaw® characteristics when compared to conventional turbomachinery at low flow conditions (e.g. PR 1.3 at 20-80 Kg/h) show substantial reduction in the operational speed.
