Basic research at Imperial College to develop an efficient low specific speed turbo-compressor.

-R&D funding from EU project 'STR' and R&D support from Turbo Genset Company Limited.
2004:
- Second Patent Forward Sweep Turbomachine PCT (003752).
- First single stage proof of concept developed.
2005:
- Dynamic Boosting Systems Limited established with Imperial College assigning all IPR to DBS for 20% equity.
- First multi-stage proof of concept developed.
2006:
Turbo Power Systems assigns all IPR to DBS for 12.5% equity.
